Egy cyberpunk világban játszódó regény lesz, ami a klónozás kérdéseivel fog foglalkozni, de meg fognak jelenni benne a larecok is valamilyen szinten, és a technológia is fejlett lesz ugye, AI-k, kiber implantátumok, robotok, amit akarsz...

Re: Másodvér
Second Blood
In 2021 Dr Aeron Caine, the leader of Pure Blood Research Institute was found guilty of human experiments, murder and kidnapping. Yet he was allowed to continue his work, with more ethical methods, under the supervision of his estranged daughter, Hannah Roscoe. Together they played a great role in stopping the great plague of the early 2020's which was rumored to be originated in the very same institute.
Caine's great vision was saving humanity from their greatest and last enemy. Death. He had a breakthrough in finding the cure for cancer and testing it in practice cured thousands of cancer patients in the first year. Later on he began to work on cloning. His idea was to grow organs and other body parts that would match the exact genome of the patient. This discovery gave hope to many amputees and revolutionalized transplantations.
He was the first to create a normally developing human clone, but the fate of that embryo was unclear.
However, Caine and his daughter founded Second Blood Corporation in 2026 and their goals became building a real AI, and combine the technology with cloning, to defeat death by transplanting the human mind itself to a new body that matches the patient's dying body. The corporation grew with incredible speed. The promise of defeating death itself intrigued humanity since forever. It wasn't difficult to find investors.
Their final breakthrough came when Caine died in 2033 at the age of 70. And reborn with the help of his daughter in a new cloned body that was the perfect copy of his younger self. Caine fulfilled everything in his lives he wanted. Still never forgot that he wanted to use cloning for bettering humanity.
Unfortunately, who came after him didn't exactly share his sentiment.
We are in 2056, almost ten years passed after humanity survived the first openly known alien invasion. Half of the planet has become inhabitable, human life has changed forever. Our story takes place in one of the very few remaining human cities on the globe, Irkal we don't know much about the rest of the world. This city is ruled by an alien from an ancient race called 'jallveah'. He has powers and owns technology beyond comprehension. Others from his race have left the planet decades ago. Why did he choose to stay? One can only guess. But he is seen rarely and never without security. He is known as 'Hades' amongst you and you only know that he is on top of the hieararchy of the city. But there are others, corporate leaders, criminals, and the upper class who lead this city and have all the privilege to do so.
Irkal is a great city, with every perks and faults that comes with that. It's in contact with other great cities but most people prefer to live their lives here or travel between the city and its martian colony Ankur, which is the greatest exporter of clones and biotechnology. This is where most of the clones of the city are grown, raised and kept till their owners need them. This is where our story begins.

Irkal, the city of the opprotunities - or so we were told as kiddos. It's rather the city of trash, tho. Dog eat dog is not just a metaphor here. Animals, no matter how rare they've become are usually a pest here. Rumaging in rubbish eating their own kin. And not just the animals, people too...
Or for some, quite the opposite. Rich assholes will keep exotic, extinct species, recloned to existence by Second Blood. You have no idea what would an inbred upperclasser pay for a hairless cat. That is how I met Lag.
I was doing small gigs for jealous husbands who wanted to check on their free-willed wives, beaten wives who wanted to repay their husbands, and literally for anyone who would give me netcred. Then I got a weird text on my cerebral chip. The guy wasn't introducing himself, just sent an uwn link. I know it all too well that you shouldn't connect yourself on unknown sites, but it was either that or starving. So I figured it was worth the risk of getting a nasty CP virus, tho I knew my doc would kill me if I didn't die in the virus.
I wasn't wrong tho. The UWN link was a map with little instructions. I was to get to a motel, pick up a package and deliver it to some rich-ass bitch. Easy enough, right? I didn't know what shit I've stepped in.

Kala:
All morning I haven't felt my best. Neither when waking up, neither when arriving at education, nor when I met my dearest person, my bestest friend, Pris. These things always make me feel joy, but today I could not pay enough attention to either of them. The sickness wasn't in my mind but somewhere in my guts. I did not want to disturb the educator. I looked at Pris. Her thick eyebrows were wrinkled a little in the middle. Thinking of the educator's words and questioning her words, as always. I knew it. I knew her. Besides, that face of hers meant exactly these thoughts. I was the best translator of her metacommunication, better than any technology created. She knew that the educator was more experienced and brought the knowledge of the past through the flow of verbal information but still she had other beliefs from time to time and I couldn't understand why. Facts are important. They are out of question. They have been proven. They make us improve, advance, and create welfare. I had no idea why Pris couldn't understand this. She was so busy in her mind that I was not able to make signs to her to ask what I should do, and I was feeling sicker by every minute.
I do not want to disturb the educator. What is wrong with me. I have to stand up. Others can't see I have problems, they will think I'm trying to create disorder. I'm not trying to create disorder. I do not want to disturb the educator. Her words are more important than my sudden flash of nausea. I do not want to distrub anyone's attention.
Pris finally looked at me and I saw through her reaction how badly I must have looked.

Another monotonous day on the education. I never knew why is everyday the same. We woke up in our pods when the blinding white lights turned on, then went for food hall to get our moring nutrition and vitamins and after that education began. It was as if everyday was the same. Even education. We learnt maths, languages and basic science. But nothing ever changed. And no one ever answered my questions. Whenever I asked something I got scolded for being nosy. It was all of my life. Maybe except for I was little, but I don't remember much of that. My best friend, Kala sat next to me and I felt her eyes lingering on me for a while. But I was too invested in asking qeustions in my mind, silent - I learnt from my past mistakes and didn't ask any of them out loud anymore.
Then something changed. As if there was a breeze. Breeze. I knew the word but never felt it for real, except for the usual motion of cold air 'pouring' out from the air conditioner. But why was that? Where is real breeze? We were taught about nature on mother Earth, we knew that the planet existed in our solar system, but we were raised here. Somwhere which isn't Earth.
My thoughts drifted again. But my small hairs erected on my neck. Something isn't right.
I turned and looked at Kala. She looked terribly pale, even for her complexion. My heart began to beat faster than before. I felt like this everytime she felt bad or needed help with something. I knew we were supposed to treat everyone equally, but we were much closer to eachother than to the others. Sometimes we even slept in eachother's pods.
I pulled my chair closer to hers and grabbed her hand. It was ice cold.
'EDUCATOR!' I shouted. A disappointed look was my reward, no answer. 'Kala feels bad' I explained. I could see that the older woman was displeased with my actions, yet I didn't give much thought to it. It was my dearest friend who felt bad.
'What's wrong, Kala?' I called to her softly.

That's when I heard the scratching sound near the keyhole.
Stupid sparing fucker Sync couldn't even get a proper apt with an entry card entering door like the fuck have I been paying him for two years to use up his NC-s. I meowed a scratchy nervous one and flipped my tail.
A fucker entered the apt. 'Yo finally, the fuck took you ages, I've been losing 6 years of mine while waiting for you, haven't you got provided the map or what.'

The key I found under the doormat - classic - was so fucking rusty it almost broke into the keyhole. A scratchy synth voice cried to me, kinda sounded like the illegitimate spawn of a broken electro-cello and a helluva ugly cyborg cat. Aaaand of course it was rude. Not like I didn't get used to my employers talking like shit to me, but well. At least this time the pay was good. Got 50 thousand netcreds in advance and another 50 thousand was promised if I delivered the package. Problem is I didn't see the guy anywhere. The whole room was empty except for a weathered cardboard box.
'Hiya... what... where?' I looked around, a clogged toilet smiled at me from the bathroom having a shitheart on its lid beautifully flashed by the neon light. And the "room" - cause it could be hardly called that - had another neon vibrating constantly like cheap strobe. It was a typical horror movie setting. I almost got the chills and hoped I won't die. 'Mkay, it is not funny now. Don't play with my time boi, where the fuck are ya?' No answer. I started to believe it is just sum motherfucker playing an overpriced hide and seek with me. Then I saw one golden and one green eye flashing at me from the box.
'Holy shiiit!' I jumped, the box was half opened yet and inside the fucking ugliest scabies eaten cat lied I've seen. Or so I thought but when the shit crawled out a bit I saw it was just one of those fucking hairless gattos they hyped in the 20's. Except it was filled with cyber implants as much as your average rich motherfucker.
'Ts ts ts ts' I coruched, reaching out for the small thing but it let out some satanic noise, sounding something like: "ekekekekek" and it had a weird mouth-movement doing so. 'Hey kitty, where's your fur parent, or eeeh... paw parent?'

Oh no, Pris did it again. I felt the guilt rushing through my veins. It was because of me. She acted out of order because of me. I stood up with trembling legs.
'I'm terribly sorry Educator for - my voice trembleded at this moment - what my behaviour caused, however I feel like I have to go out since I feel nauseaos and I'm in need of lying down, may I be dismissed for five to ten minutes please?'
'You may.' said the Educator slightly looking down on me and then instantly after on Pris, and I started moving my leg after my leg, paying attention to every movement as I knew the moment I didn't pay my utter attention to it, my knees would collapse.
'We are sorry.' said Pris half-loudly, following me without asking the Educator for permission to exit with me.
We went out to the completely empty and deserted corridor. I grabbed Pris's hand sliding my fingers through hers as we always did and turned my way towards the lavatories to sit down right under that air conditioner which somehow blew the coldest air among all the rooms. I sat there for two minutes and twelve seconds, paying attention not to surpass the time limit I asked of the Educator, when I finally had the physical strength in me to look up. Pris had a worrying look mixed with the anticipation for the explanation of my actions. Her arms crossed. Her lips puckering a little, her slightly grinding her teeth. The motion how the air conditioner had her hair flowing was making her even more attractive as she already was. I couldn't help myself but smile. My pain was relieved at that moment and I had no idea whether the reason was internal or this external view that was this captivating woman in front of me.

'This is third time this week' I said calmly. I was terribly worried for her, I didn't care about the educator, though. However, I was sure that the director will hear about this sooner or later. 'What's going on, Kala?' I let down my arms and crouched next to her. Her innocent eyes always melted my heart, no matter what. I felt protective of her all the time. Wheter it was about her mysterious illness of late or just some of the girls picking on her for some silly reason. Which I usually honored with trouble, coming their way.
She seemed more troubled then previously, but I could feel her getting more relaxed as I was closer to her. She smiled softly and I reciprocrated the gesture.
' You know, you can tell me anything, right? ' I asked, taking her right hand between my hands.

What the fuck I thought. How old is this guy Sync got me to do the job. Guy? Boy. Reminded me of Remby, my brother's best friend whose ass I was slapping all the time to make him uncomfortable. Poor lad couldn't see a thing entering this shitty lighted apt and I was laughing inside when he accidentally kicked a can with his legs and scared the shit out of himself. Decided not to answer him to intensify the tension. I could smell the adrenaline, he was sweating like a bull.
Thank the Gods he was thorough as he finally noticed my box. Another bigger pound of his heart while taking a step back after realising a living thing was in it. Had he not found me I woulda' jumped right on his ass digging my claws into them cushions. Or his balls hee hee. Thought of my cat balls. Good thing I wasn't castrated I thought. Gotta find me some kittens I laughed thinking of those weird cartoons.
I crawled out to give him the instructions as he didn't seem to be on top of cerebral activites but before I could execute this idea, he started calling me like a cat. Stupid fuck. I let out some displeased cyber-cat noises even I didn't know I could make. Walking towards his ankles, rubbing my back on it. He stepped back another looking at me with disgust.
I turned on the recording mode on my lens to save to my CP.
'AAAAAAAAFUUUUCKAAAAA' I started screaming in my most manly human voice possible.

THE FUCKING CAT TALKED. Tho it was nonsense, but still.
'Whaddahell' I screamed. Disgust and the lack ofcomprehension was still visible on my face I guess cause it looked... Disappointed? I dunno. But I was here doing biz, so I had to do something about it.
'Are you the... sorry, what the hell are you?' I asked, still trying to comprehend what's going on. The animal seemed sentient, it looked like it was amused by my confused question. Like it was smiling. I didn't know cats could smile. Although... I never really saw a cat up close till now, just in movies and holoprograms.
